It tells the story of three very different families vying to buy the exact same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they believe will solve all their problems. Denis Leary and Ray Romano both starred in the Ice Age series (2002-present). I always get a little nervous when such big names are involved in a Netflix limited series. But I felt like this cast really delivered and hit all the marks. Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow have a certain chemistry that fits this story perfectly. I’m also always happy to see Linda Cardellini in a role like this. Great pacing, appropriate tension, lots of comic interludes. For once, I wasn’t expecting the surprise ending and every plot thread seemed to be resolved in the last episode. Really enjoyed it! Highly recommended if you’re looking for something to tempt your palate in this new, fast-paced streaming world.
